Apple & CHEDDAR Autumn Burgers

Ingredients
8 burgers, defrosted
8 slices of cheddar
8 thin slices of your favorite apple (round slices, seeds removed if needed)
2 shallots, sliced
2 onions, sliced
8 rolls
Olive oil
1 TBS butter
Salt
Pepper
Directions
Heat 2 cast iron skillets to medium heat with enough olive oil to coat bottom of pan. Salt and pepper both sides of burger. Cook burgers a few minutes on each side, only flipping 1 time-cook until your preferred doneness is achieved. Put cheese on last minute of cooking. Meanwhile, in a separate skillet, cook onions and shallots in butter on medium-low heat until they are caramelized. Build your beautiful and delicious burger!
